Sew Expo

I went to Sew Expo. I didn't buy a Bernina 830, though I did drool over them. :-)

I did buy stuff though ..

Hey, a bias tape maker will be really useful & it was 30% off. What do you mean, extravagant?

I also got a pattern for a bag. The person who sold it to me said that it is a pattern that was used in the middle ages. I think it will be cool for carrying my cell phone -- it looks more like a scarf than a bag.

And I got scissors and rulers and curves (armhole & hip curves) and various other cool things. Plus, I talked with Lisa from Wild Ginger, who told me how to get the bust point on the pattern closer to my real bust point & also, how to get the shoulder slope closer to my own shoulder slope. Plus, she is really nice. :-)

That Bernina is really cool though, plus it was on sale at the Expo. Some year, maybe ...
