Trim
House with trim from the front. I don't think the trim looks quite as bright in real life, but the general idea is light yellow with blue trim.
From the street, with the whole house. Not all the windows on the main house have trim to paint, plus the porch is yet to fix and won't get painted until then.
From the back. The trim on the top is done, but I can't get up there right now to take a picture.

Paint ...
The next day, the painter added trim color, but that picture has not uploaded yet. This picture was taken not long after dawn, so the color is a bit different from full daylight.
The painter was working inside yesterday, spraying primer all over the walls. He has a white jumpsuit to put over his clothes, which is good because the air was thick with paint. I didn't take any pictures, because there was paint all over and also, it went from white to white.
The painter, Eric, said that he wasn't going to paint outside yesterday, because it was supposed to rain. I did some work outside yesterday morning, which was cold but dry. When I went outside at about 1:30 though, it was pouring, so that was a good call on his part.
The truck in the picture belongs to the electrician. He pulled the meter from the old power drop and hooked the old house power back into the new house. City light will come by soon & put a meter into the new hookup & then that will all be finished.
Jake said that the new garage door will arrive next Friday. If I understood the painter correctly, he'll have a lot of the inside painting done soon, so that people can put down the layer that goes right under the floor (underlayment).

Wallboard
It's been a while since I posted.
The wallboard arrived last week:
The guy in the foreground with the hard hat has a remote control to manage the crane device.
They bring a load of wallboard to the house, then pull it off the lift and onto a dolly, then wheel it to the dropping point with the dolly After that, Jake could nail the window in permanently and finish the siding on the outside of the house.
Then a crew came and nailed up wallboard for a couple of days. They put the sheets in place, then cut out openings as needed.
Before they start the taping, they put down paper on the floor -- easier than scraping the mud off.
I'm also working on paint colors and flooring. I should get samples that I can take pictures of and post soon.

Porch steps and insulation
Jake said the framing inspection went fine. so now comes the part about covering up the walls. The inspector apparently was impressed and gave them an "attaboy". I'm not surprised, Jake and Nate do a good job, so it makes sense that the inspector would notice.
They finished the steps to the porch. Here's a photo of the in progress state.
And the finished product. The black plastic is a fence to separate the construction area from the front yard.
From the side. The steps and the deck surface are cedar boards which will get stained (not painted).
The people delivered insulation on Friday, which was in place everywhere by the end of the day.
Next week, the wallboard will be delivered. It will take a couple of weeks to put it up and tape it.
